Greetings! My name is Norm Firecracker Westwell.
I would be honored to represent you at City Hall.
I have continuously lived in Huntington Beach since 1975. I graduated from
HB High in 1977, met my wife in HB and we are raising our two children here.
For the last 12 years I have worked in a family owned Huntington Beach
manufacturing business which is a upstanding member of the Chamber of Commerce.
I have lived in many locations throughout the city including downtown. I care
about this city. I have seen HB grow and change a great deal since 1975. I
have also traveled across our great country and have seen many cities large and
small. None is better than Huntington Beach. This is why I call Huntington
Beach home. I believe this is why you call Huntington Beach home as well..
I simply want Huntington Beach to remain the best place to live, work and
raise a family with the least taxation and government intrusion. Not being a
politician probably is my biggest asset. I decided to become a candidate when
inquires into city affairs revealed how poor management and wasteful practices
are leading to higher taxes. Higher taxes paid by you and I, the
taxpayer
Leadership with straight forward ideas
- A properly run city government is one which is nearly invisible to its
citizens.
- City government must reject activities that benefit one group of citizens
at the expense of the rest.
- We desperately need to limit city government. A limited government will be
more affective at achieving its intended purpose - Infrastructure
- We must sharply reduce the ever increasing number of expensive
consultants now used by the city.
- Our city government must have an incentive for excellence. Funding must be
tied to performance.
Stand with me on November 2nd and we can send a message. Enough is enough.
Elect
Norm Firecracker
Westwell
and you'll
get more bang for your bucks!
